WARRIOR-class Mjolnir is a variant of Mjolnir [GEN2] developed by the Materials Group.[4]
Overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
The helmet features a classic, full-plated helmet system. The suit has lightweight narrow design ceramic armor that increases mobility and a collar-outlet for swift component modularity. The suit also has hollow-plate pauldrons (73-G9) that increase speed.[1][5]
The Warrior helmet's robust design protects an elegant combination of sensors and computing clusters that are fully interoperable with all Mjolnir derivatives. The Warrior armor's dual-channel gel layer can disperse kinetic and thermal energy quickly and efficiently while preserving mobility.[3]
The Warrior helmet physical architecture appear to be based upon the Mark IV Wilhelm helmet.
Development history[edit]
During the transition to GEN1 to GEN2 armor variants, Materials Group focused on one specific armor template on optimizing speed and mobility, at the cost of overall combat effectiveness.[1]
An early production run[6] of the WARRIOR was subject to evaluation in ANVIL Station's training courses.[2]
Tested at the Damascus Materials Testing Facility on Chi Ceti IV, the final production run[6] of Warrior is the most pervasively distributed Mjolnir armor system currently in production. Streamlined to improve the wearer's speed and agility, the variant's architecture leverages intelligence from Covenant encounters to improve overall design and execution.[7]
Usage[edit]
Despite this armor being the most highly adopted kit on Mjolnir in 2558, the Materials Group cautioned that misuse can cause extreme injuries or even death.[1]
In-game information[edit]
Halo 3 MCC[edit]
In the Halo: The Master Chief Collection version of Halo 3, the Warrior variant was added as part of Series 5: Anvil content. With the updated Halo 3 armor customization options, the players can now fit their Spartan with Warrior helmet, chest, shoulders, forearms and legs. The description of the armor pieces are the same for each other. The Warrior set found in this depiction uses the RECRUIT forearms and RG-63 Counter leg models.

Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta[edit]
Warrior would return, being made available as an armor permutation during the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta, and was unlockable through the beta's progression system. The armor set featured one basic variant.
Halo 5: Guardians[edit]
Warrior would be among the launch-era armor that returned in Halo 5: Guardians as an armor permutation unlockable via the Requisition system. Unlike the Halo 5 beta, it featured three unique variants past the default. The Warrior set in Halo 5 utilizes Recruit forearms and RG-63 Counter leg armor.
Production notes[edit]
In pre-release media for Halo 4, the Warrior set was often depicted as the main armor used by Spartan-IVs, being used in almost every preliminary video showcasing multiplayer content; including videos that introduced the SPARTAN-IV program, and the Red vs. Blue PSAs Save the Date and Remember To Not Forget, with content within the limited edition of Halo 4 also supporting this. The lore for the armor itself also seems to reference this as the original intent prior to Recruit taking over that role. Why this seeming change occurred is unknown.
