GEN2 overview[edit]

Development history[edit]

The helmet's VISR is built around the concept of hot-loadable tactical software modules optimized for particular situations. Modules are selected either by the onboard battle management system or the user. The suit is a general-purpose powered assault armor that takes full advantage of line-replaceable modules and reprogrammable sensor arrays for maximum flexibility, a rarity in an age of highly-specialized Mjolnir variants.[1][2]

In-game Information[edit]

Halo 5: Guardians[edit]

Marauder was first introduced as an armor set in Halo 5: Guardians during the Hammer Storm update. The Marauder set has two alternate skin designs; Keres and Kratos.

The Marauder armor's skins are named after Kratos, the divine personification of strength, and Keres, female death-spirits; both hail from Greek mythology.
