Design details[edit]

This suit has seamless nanofabricated armor panels.[1]

Development history[edit]

Meticulously engineered and hyperlethal, the FREEBOOTER is Beweglichkeitsrüstungsysteme's most advanced weapon system. The suit's nanofabricated armor panels also hint at a Sangheili trade link.[1]

In-game information[edit]

Halo 5: Guardians[edit]

Freebooter was first introduced as an armor set in Halo 5: Guardians, unlockable through the Requisition system. The Freebooter set has one alternate skin design; Privateer, which was implemented in the Battle of Shadow and Light update.

References[edit]

Freebooter is another name for a pirate. Likewise, a privateer is essentially a government sanctioned pirate.
