Development history[edit]

Once the helmet clears the UNSC Ordnance Committee's approval loops, this armor will be able to accept next-generation Block 10 Interface Controller hardware.[1]

Usage[edit]

Rarely seen outside of ONI, ARGONAUT users must undergo an extensive synchronization process to "train" the suit's move-by-wire reflex enhancers.[1]

In-game information[edit]

Halo 5: Guardians[edit]

Argonaut was first introduced as an armor set in Halo 5: Guardians, unlockable through the Requisition system. While the chest is original, the armor utilizes the EVA shoulders, Ricochet forearms and Recruit legs. The Argonaut set has two alternate skin designs; Idmon and Nestor.

Production notes[edit]

References[edit]

The armor's named is derived from the Argonauts, a band of heroes and sailors aboard the Argo in Greek mythology. Following the theme, Argonaut's skins are named after Idmon, an Argonaut seer, and Nestor, an Argonaut and the King of Pylos.
