The suit was discovered heavily damaged, and with forensic analysis of the remains (codenamed BUCCANEER), indicate it is a functional, and crude, MJOLNIR variant.[1]
In-game information[edit]
Halo 5: Guardians[edit]
Buccaneer was first introduced as an armor set in Halo 5: Guardians, unlockable through the Requisition system. The Buccaneer set has two alternate skin designs; Tyr and Illyri.
Production notes[edit]
References[edit]
The name Buccaneer is a reference to pirates, who in the 17th century, would attack Spanish ships. The Tyr skin's name refers to Týr, a god from Germanic mythology, sometimes said to be the son of Odin. Illyri refers to a group of Indo-European tribes of the Roman era, famous for their piracy during the height of the Roman Republic.
