Template:Article Quote ROGUE-class Mjolnir, formerly the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/A variant, is a variant of the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor.[1][2] It is intended primarily for use in solo operations, particularly those that take place over extended periods of time.[3]
Development and History
GEN1
The Mark VI(A) MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor armor was one of many "privatized" variants, developed as the UNSC called upon private industries to manufacture classified war material after the fall of the Outer Colonies.[1] The Mark VI(A) in particular was created and manufactured by the Vestol Corporation, then subsequently tested at the Vestol Simulation Lab. The 'Rogue' Armor saw limited use during the Human-Covenant War, despite reports indicating its exceptional performance. Designed for lone operators, the Mark VI(A) provided enhanced network connectivity and sequentially delineated intelligence packs; critical for soldiers operating in the field alone. [4]
GEN2
After Tribute was razed in 2552, Hannibal Weapon Systems took over production of the armor in 2555. It was tested at Kotka, Pori on New Carthage.[2]
In-game information
Halo 3
Unlock: Unlock the Spartan Officer achievement, only obtainable through online multiplayer.
- Helmet Description: The Mark VI[A] helmet was the first of the "privatized" variants. With the fall of the Outer Colonies the UNSC called upon the private industry to manufacture previously classified war material.
The helmet has one small visor that resembles a pair of sunglasses, rather than the typical MJOLNIR visor. The mouth-guard appears longer and thicker with an added "hole" in the center of the mouthpiece, it seems that it is actually part of the helmet rather then an add-on otherwise it wouldn't be classified as a separate variant. The top of the helmet, which has been mistaken for the "stealth" helmet, is much more rounded as well. The mouth guard rounds, shapes, and cups into a circular black piece in front of the mouth that forms the aforementioned "hole".
Halo 4
Unlock: Available at Spartan Rank RG-4
- Description: HWS acquired this armor from Vestol Corp after the Covenant's assault of Tribute.
Available skins: FCUS(Focus)
- The FCUS skin is obtainable by achieving Spartan Rank RG-9
Halo 5: Guardians
Unlock: Ultra Rare REQ card
Helmet Description:Unknown to most, ROGUE suits contain hardware cutouts that can remove or ignore several layers of safety interlocks and threat management limiters in the Mjolnir BIOS.
Armor Description: ROGUE operators tend to be lone wolves, stalking the outskirts of the battlefield to cull enemy forces of the weak, the inattentive, and the incautious.
Available skins: Cutthroat
Cutthroat Unlock: Ultra Rare REQ card

- The Rogue and Hayabusa armors are the only Halo 3 Armor Permutations that did not return in Halo: Reach, although the EOD helmet with the UA/HUL attachment does bear a resemblance to the Rogue helmet.
- Sometimes a glitch will occur when attempting to unlock the helmet in Halo 3. If the player reaches their Highest Skill then they will skip over the rank of which they earn it at. The player will be able to unlock once they are ranked up again.
