ACHILLES-class Mjolnir is a variant of the Mjolnir [GEN2] armor and MJOLNIR [GEN3].[2][1]
GEN2 overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
The Achilles suit's neural interface is equipped with a savage AI that gnaws at the mind of its user, easily leading to excessive violence in combat.[2]
Usage[edit]
Only select Spartans who have mastered themselves are allowed to requisition the Achilles set, as unskilled wearers will quickly lose themselves to uncontrolled rage at the hands of the suit's embedded AI.[2]
GEN3 overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
Like its GEN2 predecessor, the GEN3 Achilles armor features an AI integrated within the armor's neural interface.[3]
Usage[edit]
The users of the GEN3 Achilles armor are selected with care and timing.[4]
In-game information[edit]
Halo 5: Guardians[edit]
Achilles was added into Halo 5: Guardians in the Infinity's Armory update. It is unique among the Halo 5 armor sets in that it is one of the few that can only be unlocked via specific in-game achievements, as opposed to the requisition system.[5]
Helmet | Description | Unlock requirements |
---|---|---|
Achilles (helmet) |
The AI that lies within the branching lattice of the ACHILLES' neural interface gnaws at the mind of its partner. No Spartan can stand alone against its urgings of unbridled excess, but through bonds of loyalty and duty they can be held at bay. | Achieve level 3 in all of the Spartan Company Mastery Commendations' Kill Commendations |
Achilles (body) |
Only Spartans who have mastered themselves, bound their wrath and passion within a shell of hyperdense steel fueled by starfire, are granted access to the ACHILLES. Lesser warriors will lose themselves in a storm of blood. | Achieve level 5 in all of the Spartan Company Mastery Commendations' Kill Commendations |
Halo Infinite[edit]
The Achilles armor is available for multiplayer Spartan armor customization in Halo Infinite.
Production notes[edit]
- This section needs expansion. You can help Halopedia by expanding it.
Achilles was known internally as "A102_S000 Waypoint Companies Armor" during development.[6] The armor was initially accidentally unveiled with the Cartographer's Gift update, when some glitched REQ cards were available to view with the Achilles name - though only placeholder imagery.
