Overview
The MP helmet is a fully-enclosed variant of the CH252 helmet worn by the UNSC Marine Corps and Army.[1]
Development history
One of just a handful of assets shared between branches of the UNSC Armed Forces, the MP variant is a shared asset with Beta-5 Security; as such, sensor upgrades are many and varied.[1]
Usage
The soldiers who aided Noble Team in boarding the Covenant corvette Ardent Prayer had MP helmets with transparent visors as part of their vacuum suits.[3]
The Marines on the UNSC Pillar of Autumn wore similar helmets as well, also equipped with transparent visors.[4]

Previously available only to Beta-5 security teams and select Army rapid-reaction forces, MILITARY POLICE helmets have found a home with Spartan-IV fireteams that require its hardened uplink, command network module, and remote sensor controller.[5]
