HERMES-class Mjolnir is a variant of the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor manufactured by the Watershed Division.[3]
GEN2 overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
The Hermes suit features a neural interface that requires a lengthy synchronization process before it can be used. It is also equipped with a highly powerful embedded enhanced mobility subsystem.[3]
Development history[edit]
This suit is a custom designed EVA-pattern prototype designed by the Watershed Division for orbital raids.[3]
Usage[edit]
Only a handful of Spartans can use this suit safely due to the power of its enhanced mobility subsystem.[3] It was most notably worn by Spartan-II Kelly-087 from the Mission to Installation 03[4] to the Battle of Genesis.[1][5] This variant would also possess a distinct "087" stenciled on the chest plate in Braille; an identifying trait that was present across Blue Team's [GEN2] armor.
IIC overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
The IIC variant of the Hermes helmet is a cost-reduced adaptation of the GEN2 design that retains the signature Enhanced Mobility System.[6]
GEN3 overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
The GEN3 incarnation of the Hermes' helmet is aesthetically similar to the MJOLNIR Mark IV EVA helmet worn by Kelly-087 during Operation: WARM BLANKET.
Usage[edit]
A GEN3 Hermes helmet was worn by Kelly-087 during Operation: WOLFE.[7]
In-game information[edit]
Halo 5: Guardians[edit]
Hermes was introduced in Halo 5: Guardians as an armor permutation unlockable via the Requisition system. Like Centurion and Argus, the armor acts as a faithful recreation of Kelly-087's armor within Halo 5's campaign.
Halo Infinite[edit]
The Hermes armor returned and was made available for multiplayer Spartan armor customization in Halo Infinite. A variant designed for the Mirage armor core was one of the major armor sets obtainable through the Frontlines Operation Pass, with it and its attachment acting as the free capstone of the first 20 tiers.

Production notes[edit]
The armor variant is named after Hermes, the Greek god of commerce, who acted as a messenger between the mortals and the Olympians. He was noted for his speed, which is reflected by the armor's special mobility-enhancing features, as well as its use by Kelly-087. Following this, the Dolios armor skin is named after Dolius, a character of Homer's Odyssey.
