Template:Multiplayer Map Infobox In a recent Bungie Weekly Update, it has been stated that the map Purple Reign has been delayed and will not feature in the new DLC, but will be replaced by a new map entitled "Moonlight Sonata." This does not, however, mean that the map Purple Reign has been scrapped, only that it will appear in a later set. Moonlight Sonata will likely be available for download on Xbox Live Marketplace in the Legendary Map Pack available Spring 2008. As hinted by the name, Bungie has revealed that this map takes places under a nighttime sky.On Bungie weekly update 2/15/08 it states "At long last, we tracked down a build of "Moonlight Sonata" that had received some lighting. Sure, there have been builds with this lighting for a while, but us finally uncovering it was this week’s magical moment.
