Knockin' on a Forerunner Door is the tenth mission of Halo: Spartan Strike and the fourth of Operation B: Steadfast Pursuit. A Spartan-IV must use a Zurdo-pattern Wraith to get past the Forerunner gate.
Introduction[edit]
The Wraith you commandeer has enough firepower to take out the Forerunner gate and get you closer to the source of the Conduit signal.
Transcript[edit]
The Spartan-IV begins getting inside a Wraith.
- Lieutenant Kwon (COM): "Take the Wraith back to the Forerunner site. Just keep it in one piece!"
⚠ Reach the Forerunner site
The Spartan drives the Wraith near the first Forerunner gate blocking its path.
- Lieutenant Kwon (COM): "Get fire on that power core and take it out. Should override the gate's security lockdown."
⚠ Destroy the power core
The Spartan then proceeds to destroy the first power core and continues on the path
- Lieutenant Kwon (COM): "Great! Keep destroying power cores to bring down those gates. That should get you to the Forerunner site."
⚠ Bring down the gate
The Spartan then to another Forerunner gate, and has to leave the Wraith to destroy it.
- Lieutenant Kwon (COM): "Well done, Spartan. Get back to the Wraith."
⚠ Bring down the gate
A Spirit dropship then proceeds to drop Covenant soldiers around the area, which the Spartan has to survive to reach the Wraith. After the Spartan reached the Wraith, he then heads to another Forerunner gate and destroys the related core to it.
- Lieutenant Kwon (COM): "Good! Head for the target site. But keep in mind you'll need that Wraith in one piece to get inside."
⚠ Drive the Wraith to the Forerunner site
The Spartan then heads to the gate that blocked them originally killing several Covenant along the way.
- Lieutenant Kwon (COM): "Good. Now go loud with the Wraith mortar and blast your way to the Forerunner site."
⚠ Bring down the last gate
The Spartan then destroyed the power core to the final gate
- Lieutenant Kwon (COM): "Gate's open! Get inside and locate the Conduit."
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
