Guardian[1] is a map referenced in the Halo 3 Beta code. No information about it has been provided, and it has not been seen in either leaked or official material. As such, its existence is not confirmed, nor are any of its characteristics. Since guards and prisoners are usually in close proximity, some have argued that it is a remake of "Prisoner". However, this tie is shaky at best, and it seems unlikely, since "Prisoner" depended largely on fall damage.
On July. 17th scans of the August. 7th EGM magazine were leaked. Guardian was one map revealed and is meant to be a spiritual successor to Lockout. Instead of a desolate and snowy mountain, the map takes place in what appears to be a complex surrounded by trees. An image of Guardian may be found at the following link.
