Cleansing is the eleventh level of the real-time strategy game, Halo Wars.
After the Spirit of Fire is pulled into the planet it is revealed that there are Flood on the ship and Sergeant Forge is tasked with cleaning them off. Very soon Sentinels appear to clean off the Flood, and kill the UNSC. After a few minutes a voice mentions a cleansing ring inside the planet that they are going to use to clean off the Flood. Serina then tells you to garrison your units inside the airlocks as the cleansing ring goes over the ship killing any inactive flood structures, flood units, or your units. The cleansing ring will keep passing over until all the flood have been cleaned off. The Spirit of Fire then flies out of the planet and crashes the left side of its hull into a Covenant Destroyer. The Optional objective is kill at least 100 Sentinels.
Trivia
- This is the first level to introduce Sentinels, due to the fact that the level's skull is the first one to have as an objective to destroy Sentinels.
