Guardian[1] is a map referenced in the Halo 3 Beta code. Very little information about it has been provided, and what little there is comes from a leaked issue of EGM magazine. Although some speculated it to be a remake of Prisoner, this was debunked when it was proved to be a "spiritual successor" to Lockout.
Instead of a desolate and snowy mountain, Guardian is set in what appears to be a complex surrounded by jungle. Little else is known about it, but some have described its appearance as similar to Sanctuary.
Guardian is bigger than the original Lockout.
