Ice Fields is a level unique to Halo PC/Mac's multiplayer. It consists of two bases at either end, housing a shotgun, a flamethrower, and an Assault Rifle. There are two tunnels on the map, each leading to the center bridge, which holds the map's main overshield. Below the bridge, there are two teleporter exits. Near these are either active camo powerups or overshields.

Map Tactics
In objective based gametypes such as CTF and assault, both teams generally attempt to gain control of the central bridge, as it gives them a number of vital adavantages. The bridge has a rocket launcher and an overshield which can be used to prevent hostile vehicles from advancing into your base. It also gives your team members a height advantage and allows your team sniper to get a very good view of the map and pick off your enemies before they have a chance to attack.
The terrain of this map is comparable to the Campaign level Assault on the Control Room.
