ARGUS-class Mjolnir is a MJOLNIR armor variant designed by the Office of Naval Intelligence's Watershed Division.[1]

GEN1 overview[edit]

Development history[edit]

By October 2552, a Mark VI variant of the armor was available.[4]

Usage[edit]

When the Spartan-IIs received their Mark VI Mjolnir armor in October 2552, Linda-058 was outfitted with the Argus variant.[4]

GEN2 overview[edit]

Design details[edit]

The GEN2 Argus-class armor is the most advanced human-centric information fusion system ever placed in a mobile platform.[2] It has a sophisticated battlenet control node that provides situation and threat awareness in all environments. Argus-class Mjolnir also has highly advanced cyberlink connections and cyberintrusion software that helps it collect information.[3]

This variant would also possess a distinct "058" stenciled on the chest plate in Braille; an identifying trait that was present across Blue Team's [GEN2] armor.

Development history[edit]

The GEN2 variant was developed by the Watershed Division.[1]

Usage[edit]

As of 2558, Linda-058 wore the GEN2 Argus suit.[1]

In-game information[edit]

Halo 5: Guardians[edit]

Argus was introduced in Halo 5: Guardians as an armor permutation unlockable via the Requisition system. Like Centurion and Hermes, the armor acts as a faithful recreation of Linda-058's armor within Halo 5's campaign. It features one solitary skin: Arestor.

Production notes[edit]

References[edit]

The ARGUS-class MJOLNIR is named after Argus Panoptes, an all-seeing giant with one hundred eyes. This could also compliment the helmet's design, as it appears to have multiple types of optical equipment attached to it. The Arestor skin is named after Argus' father.
