*It is possible to skip part of the level. Make sure you picked up an overshield. Enter the doorway that was unlocked due to the security overide. There, walk forward and make a right, to the ledge. A cutscence should activate, showing Master Cheif kicking a pebble over the ledge. Look down and u will see the ledges of the lower levels. Jump down and land on the ledge with the oversheild on it. From there, proceed to a much shorter trip to the Silent Cartographer. | |||
