What could possibly go wrong?"
"Isolation"[1] is a map referenced in the Halo 3 Beta code. No information about it has been provided, and it has not been seen in either leaked or official material. As such, its existence is not confirmed, nor are any of its characteristics. As there are no obvious ties in its name to any previous map, it may be a complete remake of the Halo 2 map Lockout or Coagulation, as opposed to the spiritual successor to Lockout, Guardian (as Last Resort is to Zanzibar or Valhalla is to Blood Gulch. There is also a name similarity to Desolation, though it may be completely original. Some fans speculate that Isolation is a remake of Relic, as Relic was on an island, and most islands are isolated from other land.
Some consider it to be a remake of Ascension, there could be similarities with the floating island map.
The map name has been confirmed is a leaked picture.[2]
