Mark V Alpha is a variant of MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/Mark V on the MJOLNIR [GEN2] armor manufactured by Materials Group.[2][1][3]

Mark V Alpha is a highly configurable version of the original Mark V armor.[3][2]

Development history[edit]

It is unclear who requested an integration check for the Mark V helmet with the latest GEN2 architecture, despite this engineers at Materials Group were surprised at the Mark V Alpha's near-parity with contemporary designs.[1][2]

Halo 5: Guardians[edit]

Mark V Alpha was first implemented into Halo 5: Guardians in the Infinity's Armory update.

Production notes[edit]

The Mark V Alpha was concepted for inclusion in Halo 5: Guardians by concept artist Albert Ng, who contributed several pieces to both Halo 5 and Halo Online.[4] The suite was modelled by Marco Leal, a 3D artist working for Airborn Studios. During the production, the armor had the internal codename A090.[5]
