GOBLIN-class Mjolnir is a variant of the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor [GEN2].[1]

Overview[edit]

Development history[edit]

The UNSC Infinity's Fireteam Shadow tested GOBLIN suits during the Requiem Campaign. Production models of the suit were also not fitted with sensor-warping technology that was rumored in the prototypes.[1]

Usage[edit]

The GOBLIN suit was notably used by Spartan Horatio Fry, of Fireteam Shadow, during the Requiem Campaign between 2557 and 2558.[2] During Operation: VERTICAL UMBRAGE on February 14, Fry used his GOBLIN suit to board the Zanar-pattern light cruiser, Panom's Canticle, in a boarding action ultimately resulting in the ship's destruction.[3][4]

In-game information[edit]

Halo 5: Guardians[edit]

Goblin was first introduced as an armor set in Halo 5: Guardians. The suit has two alternate skins; Erlking and Dokkaebi.

Production notes[edit]

The Goblin armour was created by the Berlin-based outsource studio Airborn Studios.[5] Internally, the armour was known by the codename A061 during development.[6]

    • In German and Danish folklore, an Erlking is a malevolent king of fairies or elves.
