Development historyEdit
Meticulously engineered and hyperlethal, the FREEBOOTER is Beweglichkeitsrüstungsysteme's most advanced weapon system. The suit's nanofabricated armor panels also hint at a Sangheili trade link.[1]
In-game informationEdit
Halo 5: GuardiansEdit
Freebooter was first introduced as an armor set in Halo 5: Guardians. The Freebooter set has one alternate skin design; Privateer, which was implemented in the Battle of Shadow and Light update.

TriviaEdit
- Freebooter is another name for a pirate. Likewise, a privateer is essentially a government sanctioned pirate.
