Template:Article Quote WARRIOR-class Mjolnir is a variant of Mjolnir [GEN2] developed by the Materials Group.[4]
Overview
Specifications
The helmet features a classic, full-plated helmet system. The suit has lightweight narrow design ceramic armor that increases mobility. A collar-outlet for swift component modularity. The suit also has hollow-plate pauldrons (73-G9) that increase speed.[1][5]
The Warrior helmet's robust design protects an elegant combination of sensors and computing clusters that are fully interoperable with all Mjolnir derivatives. The Warrior armor's dual-channel gel layer can disperse kinetic and thermal energy quickly and efficiently while preserving mobility.[3]
Development history
During the transition to GEN1 to GEN2 armor variants, Materials Group focused on one specific armor template on optimizing speed and mobility, at the cost of overall combat effectiveness.[1]
An early production run[6] of the WARRIOR was subject to evaluation in ANVIL Station's training courses.[2]
Tested at the Damascus Materials Testing Facility on Chi Ceti IV, the final production run[6] of Warrior is the most pervasively distributed Mjolnir armor system currently in production. Streamlined to improve the wearer's speed and agility, the variant's architecture leverages intelligence from Covenant encounters to improve overall design and execution.[7]
Usage
Despite this armor being the most highly adopted kit on Mjolnir in 2558, the Materials Group cautioned that misuse can cause extreme injuries or even death.[1]
In-game information
Halo 3 MCC
In the Halo: The Master Chief Collection version of Halo 3, the Warrior variant was added as part of Season 5: Anvil content. With the updated Halo 3 armor customization options, the players can now fit their Spartan with Warrior helmet, chest, shoulders, forearms and legs. The description of the armor pieces are the same for each other. The Warrior set found in this depiction uses the RECRUIT forearms and RG-63 Counter leg models.
