The hardened uplink/remote sensor package (HU/RS) or hardened uplink-improved/remote sensor package (HUL-I/RS) is an external helmet attachment, which integrates the Hardened Uplink with a remote sensor into a single attachment, employed by the United Nations Space Command.[1][2][3]
ModulesEdit
The HU/RS and HUL-I/RS packages have two observed modules, both with its own distinct physical appearance.
AN/PZY-6000 ARGONEdit
The helmets of Mjolnir Mark V Scout and its GEN2 successor, the VIGILANT-class Mjolnir, accept the AN/PZY-6000 ARGON package, which is employed as a reconnaissance and surveillance module. It is visually similar to a pair of head-mounted binoculars. The package was manufactured by Materials Group and introduced during the Human-Covenant War, when aerial and orbital sensor platforms had been destroyed during Covenant invasions.[4] The attachment is a favorite among sniper units employing the SCOUT helmets.[5] This module was employed by Jun-A266.
AN/PZY0980ASTS FACELIFTEdit
Manufactured by RKD Group and compatible with most helmets on the MJOLNIR [GEN3] platform, the AN/PZY0980ASTS FACELIFT sensor package adds a second electro-optical suite and battlenet-updatable ECCM module.[6]
The FACELIFT module has been observed to be compatible with the following helmets:[6]
In-game informationEdit
The HU/RS and HUL-I/RS serve as a cosmetic option and have no impact on gameplay.
Halo: ReachEdit
There are two HU/RS modules available as attachments on several helmets in the armor permutations of Halo: Reach. The device is priced at different levels of Credits, depending on the base helmets. In Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the same HU/RS-attached helmets are unlockable in Season 1: Noble.
The WILLOW HU/RS package on the GUNGNIR helmet.[Note 1]
Halo InfiniteEdit
HU/RS attachments are available as customization options in Halo Infinite. The release of Halo Infinite was accompanied by a series of retcons, with a HU/RS module being changed into the TAC/RS/WILLOW.

Production notesEdit
During the Halo: Reach Multiplayer Beta, the HU/RS attachment for the Military Police helmet was named the Hardened External Sensor Array-External (HESA-E), and costed 20,000 Credits. It was described as a standard issue attachment for Beta-5 Security units in the Outer Colonies. The same HU/RS attachment was re-designated as the PZY-955SSA WILLOW remote sensor in Halo Infinite.
