UTIL is a series of supplemental armor attachments and accessories compatible with the MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor.[1]

Known modules and configurations[edit]

BattleBuddy[edit]

Manufactured by Emerson Tactical Systems, the BattleBuddy is a portable battlenet terminal and digital assistant. A Pro model of the BattleBudy also exists, being more expensive than the standard version.[2]

CoolPack[edit]

The CoolPack chest armor on the Rakshasa armor.

Manufactured by the Watershed Division, the CoolPack was created as a way to adapt spacecraft cooling techology to mask Spartans' heat signature, and act as a counter movement against the Created and their knowledge of Mjolnir architecture.[3]

Desert Patrol[edit]

The Desert Patrol harness pack (also designated as Tactical/Patrol) [4] includes atmospheric condensers for passive water harvesting.[5]

ENAV Beacon[edit]

Manufactured by Emerson Tactical Systems, the ENAV Beacon features emergency navigational transponders that are compatible with all civil and military networks.[6]

EyeSpy-II[edit]

Manufactured by Ohana Prescient Systems, the EyeSpy-II is a military adaptation of a sensor cluster popularly used by first-in exploration teams deployed by the Colonial Administration Authority, and currently used by operatives using the Mirage IIC armor.[7]

KHILPK Cooling Unit[edit]

Manufactured by Imbrium Machine Complex, the KHILPK Cooling Unit is a chiller and radiator that extends operational time in high-temperature environments.[8]

Null Bag[edit]

Manufactured by the Watershed Division as a result of Project: ARC DREAM research, the Null Bag is a null state stasis container capable of completely blocking all signals in and out out the container - even the esoteric energy bursts used by Forerunner technology. Operatives are advised to never place living creatures inside the container.[9]

Project Ra ZPEC[edit]

Manufactured by the Watershed Division, the Project Ra ZPEC chest armor works with Forerunner zero-point energy cells. The Office of Naval Intelligence is confident that any permanent damage the test subjects have with the RA ZPEC is worth the tactical gain, despise no studies have been done regarding extended exposure to zero-point cells.[10]

RailGrip[edit]

Manufactured by Lethbridge Industrial and developed alongside the Materials Group and Watershed Division, the RailGrip is a prototype gravitic field driver. RailGrip users, however, were not recommended to use it in combat.[11]

SCYTALE[edit]

Manufactured by the Watershed Division, the SCYTALE is a Tactical Signals Intelligence Collection System (TSCS) equipment exclusively used by Spartans. Its fitted with upgraded cyberwarfare and AI acceleration hardware, as well as two pouches.[12]

SuperHub Custom[edit]

The SuperHub Custom chest armor on the Mirage IIC armor.

Manufactured by the Materials Group, it uses civil smartcomps integrated with illegally acquired ONI firmware.[13]

SuperPower Outback[edit]

Manufactured by Ohana Prescient Systems, the SuperPower Outback is a ruggedized battery pack system which can be made compatible with Mjolnir systems, with that being considered a disregard by the OPS.[14]
