Overview
Design details
The Extender helmet is compatible with the Mirage IIC armor platform and can be used by unaugmented personnel, with pilots and spacecrew being the primary users. However, only Spartans can make use of the helmet's high-bandwidth machine interlink mode.[1] The helmet can be equipped with the Gryphos attachment, which provides increased faceplate armor and redundant internal systems for lengthy operations in void environments.[2]

The helmet is manufactured by Aves.[1]
