Superstructure Assault is the twenty-eighth mission of Halo: Spartan Assault.
Introduction
The disintegration of Draetheus-V caused large chunks of the planet's crust to crash into X50's surface. The impact of the collisions revealed sections of a Forerunner structure that were previously hidden under the moon's ice. The size of the structure was staggering stretching for miles in all directions. And once exposed, there was no doubt that this structure was the source of the transmissions the UNSC and Covenant were chasing.
With the main line of the Covenant defenses breached. Spartan Palmer moved to locate the source of the Forerunner transmission. The terrain of X50 was too challenging for the battalion to pass, so Palmer continued on foot towards the Forerunner signal.
