Known TAC/RS modules
AN/PZY-990T STARLIGHT
The AN/PZY-990T STARLIGHT optical sensors integrates directly with Mjolnir VISR drivers and intelligence analysis systems to provide real-time situation updates to commanders.[3][Note 1] It resembles a camera, and is typically worn on the right side of the helmet.
PZY-955SSA WILLOW
Manufactured by Chalybs Defense Solutions and compatible with the CH252 helmet, the PZY-955SSA WILLOW remote sensor is dependable and natively compatible with older UNSC and CMA encoding formats.[4][Note 2] It is typically worn on the right side of the helmet. It can be employed alongside a Command Network Module or a CBRN module.[5][6]
Although it was previously available only to Beta-5 security teams and select Army rapid-reaction forces,[7] it was also employed by Orbital Drop Shock Troopers during Fall of Reach.[8] By 2558, its use was adopted by Spartan-IV personnel employing the Military Police helmet, which also employs an integrated Command Network Module.[7]
