Operation F: Hydra is the sixth operation of Halo: Spartan Assault. It was released on August 29, 2013, in the form of a title update. Adding five new missions, it focuses on Sarah Palmer embarking on a mission to the core of X50 to discover the source of an alien signal.

The download includes support for Xbox 360 controllers to be used for the game.[1]

Transcript[edit]

{Cutscene}

Sarah Palmer: "So I killed Merg Vol and we all went home? Is that the official version these days? Ha. You ought to see what came next."

{Cutscene Conclusion}

Sarah Palmer: "The transmission was Davis's call for help, just before he died. That planet was made to build things out of galactic material. And it tried to build something out of was left of Davis. I shut it down. Spartan Davis was my friend, and a damn good soldier. He deserves better than to be wiped out of our training records."
