- January 2: Halo: Epitaph was set to release on this date following a delay from an original release date of 2023, before being pushed back to February 27.[1]
- January 5: A partnership between 343 Industries and Mantic Games to bring a new tabletop game based on the Halo universe is announced.[2]
- January 30: Content Update 29, the next content drop for Halo Infinite was launched, marking the end of the "Season" nomenclature for the game.
February
- February 5: Halo: Hippocratica, the seventh short story in the Halo Waypoint Chronicle series, is released.
- February 6: Halo: Battle Born was set to be re-released by Simon & Schuster on this date, before being pushed back to March 26.[1]
- February 8: "Sanctuary" and "Sword", the first two episodes of Halo: The Television Series Season Two are aired on Paramount+, marking the start of the series' second season.[3]
- February 15: "Visegrád", the third episode of the second season of the Halo television series, aired.

- October 6: At HCS Seattle 2024, it announced that all future Halo games will be made with Unreal Engine 5, dropping the Slipspace Engine, and that 343 Industries will be rebranded as Halo Studios.
- October 8: Halo: Empty Throne was set to be released by Simon & Schuster on this date, before being pushed back to December 10.
