“ | Survival on the front lines requires EAGLESTRIKE energized plate, a marvel of war-smithing that protects against both radiation and Covenant plasmatron weaponry.[1] | ” |
The Eaglestrike armor is a suit of armor utilized by the Unified Nations Security Confederation in the Entrenched Fracture.[2]
In-game information[edit]
The Eaglestrike armor core is unlockable by attaining level 5 on the Event Pass during the Fractures: Entrenched event in Season 02: Lone Wolves, the second season of Halo Infinite multiplayer. Customization options for the Eaglestrike are unlocked by attaining later levels of the Event Pass or purchasing Shop Bundles from the Halo Infinite in-game shop during the weeks when the Fracture: Entrenched event is live.[3][4]
With the release of the December update during Halo Infinite's Winter Update, the Eaglestrike armor core was granted to all players for free.[5] The armor core would receive a new armor kit during The Yappening II, and a single additional armor set during Snowbound in the 2024 Winter Update.

Production notes[edit]
During Halo Infinite's development, the Eaglestrike armor was known internally as "Iron Eagle", following a similar naming scheme to Mark VII being dubbed "Olympus" in Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Halo Infinite.[citation needed] Additionally, assets for the Eaglestrike armor core were present in the game's mid-2021 flights and builds, having been leaked shortly after flights began, although it would not be spoken of until Season 02 previews in 2022.
While Eaglestrike and most Fractures armor alike either feature wholly original designs or take visual and design cues from core canon armor, the Lancejack armor set released during Snowbound deviates and takes design elements from a fellow Fracture: Tenrai. Specifically, the First and Second Movement shoulders and wrist seem to be the basis for the Type-10 Defenders and Babysitter Watch respectively. Both feature a dual piped design that shifts into a frilled, upper region, with a squared, large shoulder that is segmented into three major parts.
