Sangheili: Difference between revisions

The most notable among the Covenant remnant groups is [[Jul 'Mdama's Covenant]], who remained a thorn in the side of humanity for many years. Among this group, the ranks of [[Sangheili Storm|Storm]] and [[Sangheili Warrior|Warrior]] became respectively the lowest and highest infantry ratings, although the group also kept its own version of [[Sangheili Ranger|Ranger]], [[Sangheili Commander|Commander]] and Zealot. The Swords of Sanghelios were notable among remnant groups for their alliance with the UNSC. Under the leadership of Arbiter Thel'Vadam, the group opened its military positions to female Sangheili as well. The largest splinter group of Covenant species, the Banished, also includes a large amount of Sangheili. The spontaneous, informal structure of the group led to a large number of different ranks being recognized within, both from old Covenant, new structures, or specialist positions. The troops stationed on the Ark, with most of them employed by a Shipmaster, comprise of a groundbound marksman version of the Ranger, and its more advanced [[Sangheili Assault|Assault]] version, the Stealth-focused [[Sangheili Prowling|Prowling]], the heavily armed [[Sangheili Enforcer|Enforcer]]s, and a number of remnant Honor Guardsmen. The Sangheili encountered on Installation 07 used a mixture of Covenant and new ranks as well, with [[Sangheili Mercenary|Mercenaries]], generalist Enforcers, stealth-based Spec Ops, gold-clad [[Sangheili Warlord|Warlord]]s, and veteran Evocati among their number.
