Major is a common rank both in the Covenant and the UNSC. It may refer to any of the following:
Halo Universe[edit]
Human[edit]
- Major - Field Grade officer rank of the UNSC Air Force, UNSC Army and UNSC Marine Corps.
- Major General - General officer rank in the Air Force, Army and Marine Corps.
- Sergeant Major - The highest enlisted rank in the Army and Marine Corps.
Covenant[edit]
- Jiralhanae Major - Jiralhanae infantryman with blue armor.
- Jiralhanae Captain Major - Jiralhanae captains in golden armor.
- Kig-Yar Major - Kig-Yar infantryman with an orange shield.
- Sangheili Major - Sangheili veteran infantryman with red armor.
- Unggoy Major - Unggoy infantryman with red armor.
- Yanme'e Major - Yanme'e airborne infantryman with armor.
