Hemorrhage is a map variant of Forge World. It is a remake of Blood Gulch from Halo: Combat Evolved with elements from Halo 2's Coagulation built into the Canyon. Hemorrhage is featured in the Team Slayer, Team Objective, Multi Team, Big Team Battle, Doubles Arena, Team Snipers and Team Arena playlists.[1]
Overview[edit]
Layout[edit]
As referenced by its name, Hemorrhage is a remake of Blood Gulch, but borrows elements from its Halo 2 and Halo 3 successors, Coagulation and Valhalla, respectively. Specifically, the bases uses those from Blood Gulch, while the terrain geometry is a direct port from Coagulation, scaled to match Halo: Reach. The terrain is that of Valhalla's, with one base located adjacent to a body of water.
Production notes[edit]
- Hemorrhage was first showcased in Deja View from the Red vs. Blue PSA series. The PSA's ending teased the then-upcoming Forge World, which was planned for reveal at Comic-Con.[2][3]
- The description of Hemorrhage references Valhalla's description, with either locations being called a "curious gorge".
