Hemorrhage is situated in the Canyon area of [[Forge World]]. Yet the environment, such as it has grass and a lake behind one of the bases, are based off of [[Valhalla]]. Many interesting sections of popular Halo maps were repurposed as Forge items; such items from the Forge World pallete are combined to recreate bases from Blood Gulch for Hemorrhage. New [[Forge]] features allow the bases to be coloured to represent their respective teams. Hemorrhage will appear in matchmaking and will be one of four Invasion and Race maps.

Overview[edit]

Layout[edit]

As referenced by its name, Hemorrhage is a remake of Blood Gulch, but borrows elements from its Halo 2 and Halo 3 successors, Coagulation and Valhalla, respectively. Specifically, the bases uses those from Blood Gulch, while the terrain geometry is a direct port from Coagulation, scaled to match Halo: Reach. The terrain is that of Valhalla's, with one base located adjacent to a body of water.

Production notes[edit]

  • Hemorrhage was first showcased in Deja View from the Red vs. Blue PSA series. The PSA's ending teased the then-upcoming Forge World, which was planned for reveal at Comic-Con.[2][3]
  • The description of Hemorrhage references Valhalla's description, with either locations being called a "curious gorge".
