Season 9 was a planned upcoming season for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. As of December 2020, plans had been laid internally at 343 Industries for this season,[1] however due to the release of Halo Infinite, 343 Industries decided to end at Season 8: Mythic and have the content that was planned for Season 9 to be implemented in game updates slated for 2022.
