Carnifax

Carnifax is an energy scythe employed by the Jiralhanae warlord Voridus.[1]
Production notes[edit]
While never seen in-game, Carnifax was first depicted in concept art for Voridus produced by Theo Stylianides for Halo Wars 2: Awakening the Nightmare and seen at the top of this page. The weapon was later named and canonised in the Halo Encyclopedia (2022 edition).[1] The unused design of Voridus featured in the artwork was later used to represent the character of Severan, who was first depicted in Halo: Empty Throne.[2]
