Fred Van Lente is a Dutch-American writer, who works primarily on comics and graphic novels.
Biography
He was born in Tacoma, Washington, on the 14th of February 1972. He, along with Ryan Dunlavey, founded Evil Twin Comics, which produces their comics.

He worked mostly for Marvel Comics; his work comprises:

- Marvel Adventures Spider-Man Vol. 6: The Black Costume
- Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four Vol. 6: Monsters & Mysteries
- Marvel Adventures Iron Man Vol. 1: Heart of Steel

- He his known to be the writer of the upcoming Halo: Spartan Black comic issues, which will be published by Marvel as well.
