Template:Ship Class Infobox The Type-44 Troop Carrier, also known as the Phantom, is a dropship formerly in the service of the Covenant military. The Type-44 were primarily used as troop transports, but could be outfitted as exoatmospheric and endoatmospheric gunships. It was accompanied and later supplanted by an advanced model in 2552. The Storm, a menacing militant religious faction of the former empire, utilizes the Type-44 as its primary troop transport in their fleet.
