BR55's Range[edit]
While going through Contact Harvest, I came across the range of the rifle, which was stated to be a maximum of 900 meters.
That's triple the range of the MA5 rifles, which is 300 meters, with good marksmen being able to strike near that range quite accurately.
So that makes me wonder, does the basic BR55 in First Strike and Halo 2 how much range that basic rifle has in comparison to the CH-era prototype, which appears to be a similar to BR55 HB SR variant. With its shorter barrel, maybe it has half or a quarter of the range.

The Cole Protocol[edit]
Is the BR in Halo: The Cole Protocol a prototype? I'm not exactly sure if it is. --
