Why...

Is there any indication why any "administration" would dismiss the development of a super fighter when in the middle of a war for survival? Wouldn't you be bragging about developing a new weapon?

Well if they talked about it too much then the technology might fall into the wrong hands like insurrectionists and a top secret Spartan-III was part of it so they would not tell the public about it forgive my English #@lof@n1234 20:00, 24 February 2011 (EST)

I agree. Militaries rarely announce their projects, even in times of war. The Germans developed V-1 flying bombs that could be piloted by airmen, who would either die on impact or eject...and be sucked into the intake. Projects can be very controversial.-- Forerunner 20:32, 24 February 2011 (EST)
