Halo Theme in the Halo 4 OST?[edit]

Does the Halo Theme appear on any of the tracks on the disc, or is it available only on the collector's edition? Could someone pointing it out for me? I'd really like to here it again. :-) --Xamikaze330 (talk|contribs) 23:17, 10 November 2012 (EST)Xamikaze330

The classic Halo monk chant is not in the soundtrack or the game, but the bombastic closing moments of 117 is inspired by the theme. Give that track a try! -Kronos101 23:23, 10 November 2012 (EST)

Never Forget[edit]

The Halo 4 version, the one that plays during the credits, it's not on the soundtrack? Alex T Snow 23:24, 10 November 2012 (EST)

Because of disc size restrictions, no. But it's on YouTube, so grab an MP3 from there. -Kronos101 23:37, 10 November 2012 (EST)
Thanks! My favourite Halo track! Well, both of them are :D If there are more of these we should probably make a note of them and link them to the page. Alex T Snow 05:01, 11 November 2012 (EST)

Sub-tracks[edit]

In most Halo soundtracks to date, the majority of the tracks were really just a bunch of tracks put together, and each sub-track (not sure if there's a more technical word) was named, and could be split apart into individual tracks (something I did). Most of the Halo 4 tracks are not like this, but a few are (I'm thinking specifically of To Galaxy); in this case the menu theme and the main theme. Do any of these have individual names like before? Halo 4 OST Vol. 2 on iTunes[edit]

I know the article says it will come out on April 8, 2013, but on iTunes, it says there that it won't come out until April 9, 2013. Should this be mentioned? --Xamikaze330 [Transmit|Files] 10:51, 8 April 2013 (EDT)Xamikaze330

I might also add that it is the same on Amazon.com. --Xamikaze330 [Transmit|Files] 13:29, 8 April 2013 (EDT)Xamikaze330

Track Similarities on Halo 4 OST Vol. 2[edit]

Hey, I don't know if anyone's every noticed this with Volume 2 of the Halo 4 Original Soundtrack, but at times at can sound like other movie and video game soundtracks, such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and even a little bit of Ghost Hunters International theme. I wonder if this was somehow intentional, maybe a nod to those other media forms or whatever. Either way, I thought it was rather interesting. --Xamikaze330 [Transmit|Files] 14:17, 9 April 2013 (EDT)Xamikaze330
