Talk:Battle of Netherop (2526)

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

Rename[edit]

I think the page needs to be renamed to something like Battle of Netherop. Nowhere in that book or that I can find is this called Operation: OBLIVION. The name given by the page creator probably comes from the title of the book since Halo: Silent Storm was named after Operation: SILENT STORM. In this case, it seemed to be named after the fact that Nizat 'Kvarosee saw himself as walking the Path of Oblivion or something like that following his defiance of the Prophets and the loss of the Fleet of Inexorable Obedience.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 18:09, October 17, 2019 (EDT)

I'll get on that now. BaconShelf (talk) 18:48, October 17, 2019 (EDT)
Done. I left a redirect but haven't done any page text changes so you may want to go through and edit stuff. BaconShelf (talk) 18:53, October 17, 2019 (EDT)

Operation: OBLIVION has been given as the name of the operation. https://mobile.twitter.com/TDenningauthor/status/1104106760921591808

Sign your posts whoever you are. And also, as I pointed out, that's never mentioned anywhere in the book. The name Oblivion instead seems to come because Nizat sees himself as now walking the Path of Oblivion. I think he's kind of obsessed with it in the book.--WarGrowlmon18 (talk) 01:28, October 18, 2019 (EDT)
Also doesnt say OBLIVION is the title of an operation. Could just be him stylistically saying the name of the book.-CIA391 (talk) 03:52, October 18, 2019 (EDT)
