Solitary is a multiplayer map included in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary for Halo Reach.[2] It is a remake of Prisoner from Halo: Combat Evolved with several alterations to map layout.
Universe and lore[edit]
Solitary is set in a Forerunner skycrypt, which is typically used for containing or isolating dangerous beings.[3] The tower itself is suspended above an icy world at a suborbital location to keep threats at bay. However, this particular skycrypt's window was seemingly breached by its prisoner during its escape.[2]
