The Siege of Dwarka[1] was a Covenant attack on the human Outer Colony Dwarka.
Battle
During the battle, Bassus ransacked several residential sectors. He made a cruel display of dead humans in order to demoralize their forces.[1]
Aftermath
Following the battle, contact with the colony was lost and for at least some parts of the UNSC, it's fate was unknown. Even five years later, it hadn't be revealed, a fact that prompted worry in Lieutenant Jacob Keyes, as his sister lived on the planet.[4]
