Operation: GUARDIAN LANCE was a United Nations Space Command operation that took place on Jericho VII on July 12, 2540, five years after the Battle of Jericho VII.[1] During the operation, the UNSC managed to recover several pieces of Covenant equipment—labeled 83.788-C and 77.312-C—for technological study. These specimens were later on display at the main atrium of SWORD Base on Reach.[1]
