Shrine[2] is a multiplayer map in Halo 2: Anniversary. It is a remake of Sanctuary from Halo 2's Killtacular Pack, with some minor changes. Shrine is one of the seven Halo 2 multiplayer map remakes that have been completely re-imagined for Halo 2: Anniversary.[3]

Changes from Sanctuary
- Shooting a large, orange light at each team's base, the "Ruined Temple" and the "Overgrown Shrine", causes a waterfall to encompass the base. After some time, the waterfall resets.[4]
- The tunnels to the side of each base now have gravity lifts leading to the second level of the structure to give players alternate paths out of a skirmish.[5]
- The energy sword at the middle of the central structure—now known as the "Mausoleum"—has been replaced with a rocket launcher.
