Valley of Tears A[1] was a Covenant environmental module on the orbital city High Charity.
During the first hours of the Civil War of the Covenant, the Sangheilis and their allies took this exposed location, stationing Mgalekgolos and Unggoys in the center while posting Sangheili Honor Guards on the perimeter. Shortly afterward, the Covenant Loyalists sought to retake the Valley of Tears A, sending forth Jiralhanaes and Jackal Snipers. SPARTAN-117 killed them all in the events of the campaign level Gravemind.
