Overview
The track is an arrangement of a variation of the third section from Truth and Reconciliation Suite in Halo: Original Soundtrack. The variation, which plays in the opening cinematic of the campaign level Two Betrayals was omitted from the soundtrack.

The track plays in place the third section from Truth and Reconciliation Suite in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, during the opening cinematic of Two Betrayals, when Cortana reveals herself in the control room and explains Halo's true purpose to John-117, up until the point where 343 Guilty Spark prepares to threaten John-117.
