• In the level Assault on the Control Room at the first bridge, after Cortana replied to the Sergeant of Fireteam Zulu.
• In the level Two Betrayals, when John-117 returns to the twin bridges in Canyon B to find Type-26 Banshees combating the Flood.

Production notes

Like On a Pale Horse and Behold a Pale Horse, the name "Pale Rider" is likely a reference to one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in the Book of Revelation.
