The Battle of New Constantinople was a major engagement on New Constantinople between the United Nations Space Command and the Covenant during the Human-Covenant War that occurred some time in early 2537.[1] Vice Admiral Danforth Whitcomb distinguished himself in the battle and was awarded several decorations for his actions.[3] SPARTAN-III Alpha Company fought well in the engagement and were highly distinguished for their actions.[2][4]
